06-12-2004 Wild Goose Pagoda

My 3rd smashing day in XiÁn , Capital of the Beautiful Shaanxi Province in South-Western China. Another day with excellent weather, more sunny and more fit for spring than for December. While Beijing is cold and foggy with pollution .. here I am – Once more enjoying the sun !!

And not only that – We finally made it down to one of XiÁn Cities’ most famous sites ,
the Great Wild Goose Pagoda ( Dacien Si ) located in the South-Eastern district outside XiÁn’s Old City Walls.

After being through a lot again last 3 days in Xian – including a small browl with some Crazy Gay Chinese Guy trying to pick me up at Central Square ( Had to Kick his Ass to make him leave ), this was a tranquil day filled with Buddhist and Chinese Garden splendor. What a relief !!
And what a Joy ! If you ever get down to XiÁn , you cannot miss out on this splendid Pagoda Site, one of the Nicest in China today ( even accesible for weelchair bound fellow Men & Women ). If you donot have the chance , maybe not even in your Lifetime – don’t worry. The China Report and Doc Ben sympathisize with you and .. yes, today we succeeded in documenting 90, if not 95% of the entire complex for your eyes. This is our MISSION.
